Apple releases a new iPod product line Exactly 1 year minus 1 week later from when Apple’s last iPods were released, Apple has revamped its entire offering of iPods with a brand-new line of iPods: iPod touch becomes the front-runner of the iPod product line. The big iPod has now been renamed to iPod classic. iPod nano becomes smaller but fatter, and can now play videos. iPod shuffle simply gets refreshed with new colors.
